    • I was given a copy of this book from the author for an honest reviewWe find Sam after changing jobs getting ready to take a trip to St Thomas to do a story for a Travel Magazine about Americans who invest in property there He takes his friend Walter along to snap pictures for his article They get settled on the plane and Sam starts talking to Alice, the woman sitting next to him She is traveling to St Thomas to see her dad As Alice begins to talk about her dad, Sam realizes he would be a great p [...]

    • Meh The mystery part made no sense and the dialogue was stilted simplistic The whole thing felt like the author sat down with a travel book in one hand plotted out where the characters would visit, then filled in the rest of the book with facts about those locations rambling dialogue Seriously the action is broken up by several pages describing SNUBA diving the fish they saw view spoiler.Oh no Somebody s father has been kidnapped Let s all go on a ride in the Skyride and talk about how fun it is [...]

    • Sam and WalterSam and Walter go on a working vacation to St Thomas While there, Sam s suitcase, which he purchased from WalMart at the last minute, is mixed up at the airport with two other similar bags A man looking to retrieve one of the bags is acting a little too desperate to get it back Walter decides to open the bag and finds two coconuts Who would brings coconuts to a tropical island Therein lies the mystery Beautiful setting, interesting characters, lovely story I give it 2 1 2 stars

    • Slow start, good ending.A clean mystery with a good story it just took to long to develop the story The first half of this book was introducing the characters and boring descriptions of things that in my opinion could have been glossed over I kept thinking about putting it aside The second half was much better I give it two stars for the first half and five for the second half No sex or foul language The only violence was a bit of gun play, but no gore.

    • I gave upWhat trite dialogue and slow plotting Sorry, but I packed it in after 17 percent don t know how many pages that is I didn t read the first book so don t know why Walter, her neighbor, is trying to matchmake Sam with every woman she meets is Sam gay It s not cozy, it s sleep inducing.

    • I downloaded this to my phone because it is set on St Thomas, a U.S Virgin Island I lived there for 3 years so it was fun to read about the locations and local sites A very basic quick read mystery Will I read of them, probably not, but it was fun.

    • Cute I liked reading this because it was a softer mystery I could read before going to sleep and not worry about falling asleep I liked how they meet friends that where truly friends

    • ReviewI rated this book low because of the misspellings, rambling dialog, and missing, or words that were used that were in the wrong tense These mistakes were so frequent that I didn t finish the book.
