    • I enjoyed reading this book, but at the same time I have to admit it s not terribly well written I enjoyed it because I love Minnesota sports, but I don t actually know a ton of the history before 1987 I was especially surprised to hear about Bud Grant s basketball career I think I was most disappointed that some of the lists seemed repetitive one item would be the World Series, then two other items would be Games 6 7 of the same World Series Oh well, but I guess I would have done it a little di [...]


    • I really wanted to like this book, but it The whole book felt forced A lot of the lists were very similar For example, there s a list of top 10 players in Twins history and a list of Rosen s top 10 favorite Twins Those lists were very similar with about two thirds of the people being the same on both lists The one positive about this book is that Rosen has been around the Twin Cities sports scene for over 40 years The book has a lot of events that it was nice to reminisce about I just wish this [...]
